Hi
I like Avast Secure Browser but right now I am forced to stop using it because it crashes (stops recognizing any commands, refuse to exit and Windows 10 has to delete the task and the processus). This occurs every time when cjecking news at "https://news.sky.com/" but I am sure it is not the only one.
Is there someting that I do wrong or do I need to wait for a fix at your end?
My system is a windows 10 Family version 1903. My laptop is an HP Pavilion with 64 bit Intel Pentium 1.9 GHz and 1 TBytes of mass memory. I have been using the Avast Secure Browser for months and it was OK then
I would be grateful to be helped on this so that I could resume using Avast Secure Browser
Kind regards
Jean

I have been also experiencing this issue ("Not Responding") with many websites using Secure Browser as well as Bank Mode for the last 3-4 days.

Running up-to-date Win 10 as well.

ASB Version 77.0.1801.76 (Official Build) (32-bit) and have AVAST Premium Security.

Edit: Clear cache several times a week as well

Prompted for a browser update this morning.

Version 77.1.1829.91 (Official Build) (32-bit)

Will advise if the "Not Responding" issue continues.

Thanks

Hello, guys!

Thank you for the reports!
I cannot reproduce your bug,so we will need more information  ;)

1. Open the browser and click on the menu icon (3 dots)
2. Click on "Help and About Avast Secure Browser" and then "About Avast Secure Browser"
3. Click on "Diagnostic Information" (this will open a pop-up window)
4. Click the "COPY TO CLIPBOARD" button to capture the information and paste it here.

Thank you!

My problem seems resolved after I received the auto-update for Version 77.1.1829.91 (Official Build) (32-bit) yesterday.

Since then I manually updated this morning to:
Version 77.1.1831.91 (Official Build) (64-bit)

If I have any further problems I will report it. Thanks.

Hello

Yesterday Microsoft sent an update to the version 1703. I tried again with Avast Secure Browser (ASB) and it took more time to crash but it did while watching a video inside a news site (news.sky/com). I took less than 2 minutes to happen.
I did what you suggested and here is the information (sadly after I rebooted my computer to be able to open ASB
