Threat Blocked

So recently, i accidentally downloaded a virus trying to install a free version of Adobe Lightroom. My shields were off while downloading, but i managed to turn off my laptop to clear the pop ups and turn my shields back on. Since then, Avast has kept telling me that threats have been blocked. I just want to know which viruses are doing this and how to stop it. Thank you.

I'll post a screenshot soon, I haven't seen the popup in a few hours. I know there's something provoking it on my laptop, because im not doing anything or opening anything  to provoke it.
