TiWorker is using up lot of cpu time is it a virus?  and if it is how do you remove.  Nothing shows up when scanning.  I am using Avast Premium.  Really is slowing things up

TiWorker is a windows update process (normally). Therefore the high usage is not unexpected.

If you're concerned, find it in Task Manager > Right Click > Open File Location. Leave that window open. In a broswer, navigate to "VirusTotal.com". Drag the TiWorker.exe process over top of the VirusTotal webpage (then drop it). Should automatically scan the file for you.

Alternatively, run the scans found here >> https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=194892.0
