Can anyone tell me how to restore something Avast blocked? It was some file about "BackWeb". Now I am thinking I may need that file. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Sharon

I'm afraid you would have to be a little more specific. What exactly does it mean "blocked"? Were you running a scan of your disk, or was the file detected when browsing on web maybe? What action did you tell avast! to perform?

BackWeb is a file/update distribution system and it's not used in avast!.
F-Secure is however using it for it's updater system.
