Setting ASB as Default does not work?
« on: February 06, 2020, 09:10:38 AM »
Hi,

I am working in windows 10 PRO and use Avast Secure Browser (ASB) more often than I used to, and noticed that it gets slower when opened more & more tabs (like 4-8). I thought I give it a try to make ASB my standard Default browser, but when I click to confirm that, the screen flickers and... nothing happened. Over & Over again. As user & administrator.

And with the standard default settings in Windows 10 PRO voor http// & https:// + more important subjects I cannot choose ASB as Default. As user & administrator. Checked and checked. Over & Over again.

NOTE: I have also installed the browsers Chrome, Firefox and the irritating standard error Edge & Internet Explorer  :(  ......

What2Do?
Is there a way 2??
Maybe?
Hope so.
Tell.
Me.

Please.

In Windows 10 you select your default program differently.
That includes your default Browser.

Selecting the Current Default, opens the menu of other Browser installed on your computer to choose.
When you go into the settings for the Secure Browser and select to make it your default,

you should see the second image I posted open ready for you to choose the Secure Browser.
