AVAST VPN Issues

My Avast SecureLine VPN says I'm set to Dallas and my ip on a browser look up matches it. However, whenever I try to login to youtube through google 2F Authentication pop-up on my phone says that it's near the United Kingdom. Does the VPN do this?

The location in settings on my google account had my location set to the UK, so I believe that was the issue.

Interesting re the UK.  I have mine set for Dallas, but lately I have received some messages that I cannot download a page due to European Union restrictions.  Seems to think I am in Prague today.  Yesterday it was Germany.  VPN still says Dallas.  Ideas on how to get Dallas to reflect as Dallas?
