Hello,

avast is caught in a never ending cycle of blocking a threat.
If I move to to qurantaine (as recommended) within split-seconds the same message of "threat blocked" appears again.

  • No support PMs thanks
A screenshot of the Avast Alert window could help, as that would give the source of the infection and what triggered it.  You would need to click the more details to expand the window.

Thanks Pondus. I'll have to figure out to which e-mail address it was send to, because I use several mail addresses and Avast doesn't mention the recipient just stated that it was to C: Program Files - Microsoft Office - root - Office 16 - OUTLOOK.EXE and blocked it. Happily in the meantime I read something about 'silent modus' and was able to activate it in my Avast Premium. Result is no continuing messages, i.e. Avast doesn't show these pop-ups, malware is registered and blocked. So, it seems to work. Many thank for your quick reply and support. Edward
