how to make avast automatically shut down Windows after scanning
« on: September 12, 2006, 07:42:37 AM »
I use Avast Home Editon.

Since full system scanning takes much time, I want to make Avast automatically shut down Windows after finishing Scanning.  However, I can NOT find the corresponding option in setting window?

Are there any suggestions?

I am afraid this feature is available only in the Professional version of avast! (in the Enhanced User Interface).

I am afraid this feature is available only in the Professional version of avast! (in the Enhanced User Interface).
Code: [Select]
Shutdown Computer When Scan Has Completed. When all the running tasks are finished, the computer will be automatically shut down. Igor, why doesn't this option is present into the 'scheduler' settings?
The user can't use it automatically (scheduled) but manual select it. There isn't a countdown to shutdown either.  :'(
