Wifi Scanner
« on: June 12, 2020, 02:53:26 AM »
Why does the Trend Micro Wifi scanner pick up things Avast does not?

TrendMicro says an "Os Command Injection" is 'infecting' a device on my network.  Avast does not say anything.  How do I determine whose right? It is a direct TV device

Hi inelunit,

The service of AT Direct TV seems disastrous, probably not having the expertise to help.
Try here to get better advised: https://www.reddit.com/r/netsecstudents/

TrendMicro has a good track-record. Wait for a final verdict by netsecstudents,

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!
