Avast Using my entire CPU

Can Someone please help. I have spent the entire day trying to deal with this. Currently Avast is using up my entire CPU, when looking in the tasks constantly running are the "Avast Service" running at 25% and then THREE instances of Avast Anti Virus Installer running at 25% each.

I have tried uninstalling Avast with the Avast clear executable (while in safe mode) and it is stuck on the "Uninstalling software" window with no change to the loading bar.

I have run out of things to try, Avast refuses to be uninstalled and it is using up my entire CPU usage.

What Operating System and Avast versions are you using?
Note there was a new version 20.8 released yesterday.
Have you done the update?
then do a Restart or two (not shutdown/startup).

There are so so many threads about this nowadays, something is defenetly wrong because there are a lot of complaints, i have already forwarded a similar topic like this, so hopefully something gets done about it.
