I can`t install Avast!. I`ve always got message: :An Error 82 has occured"
during extracting main exe file. Help

Delete the installation file you downloaded and then download again.

r@V, it's most likely that your TEMP folder is either full or somehow inaccessible. Try cleaning up the folder (you can find out which one it is by executing the command

SET TEMP

on the command line). Also, make sure there's enough disk space (at least ~25MB).


BTW, error 82 stands for "The directory or file cannot be created." You can get this info by using the command

NET HELPMSG 82

from the command line.
