what is this virus and do I get rid of it by deleted the infected files?  Can I use Avast to scan any software Cd's that I want to use?  How do I do that.  Any help gratedully received.  :)

You can scan CD's with avast! You need to click on the CD icon on the right of the avast! scanner screen.
