Where is it? What new features can we expect? How much longer till
at least a beta will be available for testing?

It's too early to talk about specific dates. I can only tell you the year: 2007  :P

The feature list is pretty long, more on this later.

For sure, we will have a beta (and maybe even an alpha) program so you don't have to worry that you miss something... ;)

I will take a wild guess that it probably will. However, like avast 4.7 there are some parts of it that won't work with win9x (or will require manual set-up, etc.) due to the limitations of the OS and not because of avast!

Middle of November is the current deadline. There have been some big problems with the on-access scanner, hence the delay.

I hope the list is not too much long, because an antivirus should be an antivirus only and not a bloated/factotum software
