Got Charged by 'Dri*Avast So' out of nowhere
« on: February 15, 2021, 12:59:22 AM »
When I checked my bank account this morning. I saw that I got charged by 'Dri*Avast So' outta nowhere for $82.66. I was confident that I cancelled my free trial back in July 2020. I don't know why it suddenly just charged me money. Didn't send me an email or anything about an avast order and just straight up charged me. Please Help

The most likely cause of non-receipt of a notification of charge is a typo in the email or it is an old email no longer used.

Refund request - https://support.avast.com/en-ww/contact/sales_refund If you haven't got the Order ID, etc enter 00000000 and give as much information that you can to help identify it.

I've sent a refund request yesterday, but they haven't replied, is it supposed to take this long? Should I send another one?

Give it a little more time, if the refund request is valid then it should proceed.

A lot will depend on how much information you gave for them to be able to find it.

Done send another as the support ticket system is FiFo First In First Out, duplication would effectively delay the process as it would move down the order.
