Please Help about Updating VPS Trouble.

Thanks for reading my Email.
My name is Mozes, I'm From Indonesia. 
I'm Using avast with license for home edition Avast 4.7. I'm download the VPS from Public Area, (because my computer does not have any Internet connection).

When I'm download the "UPDATES" (VPSUPD.EXE). And I actived the vpsupd.exe on my computer. It says "The VPSUPD is for AVAST 4.7 or higher ... "   

Can You help me.
So I can update anti virus database please ...
Cause my computer is use to do my homework.

What version of avast are you using? The current is 4.7.892.
Starting late last friday all new vps's will require  you to update to 4.7.892. You will have to down load the latest and install on your computor.

There are 2 vpsupd.exe file. One for version 4.7 and higher and another for version 4.6 and lower.
But, as oldman says, you need to update to the last 4.7.892 now.

Wouldn't it be better to say on the error message that the version needed is 4.7.892 rather than just 4.7??? It's rather confusing otherwise and a waste of time trying to figure out what's wrong...

Maybe, but each new build developed will require to change the error message.
In fact, I was wrong when saying that *still* there were two versions of the update file.
All users should have update to the last 4.7.892 version recently. It was a mandatory update (http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=25348.0).

Yes, I think the message should be changed to include the build number as well (because that's what is really required).
