False positive in our app
« on: March 22, 2021, 10:42:16 PM »
We released a update in our app, and it is flagged as a malwate in Avast Mobile. For sure it is a false positive. The option to send false positive report inside Avast app does'nt work.

Here is the virustotal link for the apk file:

We have sent the file for test more than 24 hours ago and nothing was done. We are losing a lot of consumers and money with the irresponsibility of this company. If the problem persists, we will certainly have to sue the Avast Company.

Hi bfgame,

Read here: https://malwarefixes.com/threats/win32evo-gen-susp/  (independent removal information)
And then their android version of a similar "generic" detection: https://androidforums.com/threads/android-evo-gen-virus.927186/

But that this generic (potential) detection is indeed an FP, can only be heard from the horse's mouth,
that means an avast team member giving the final verdict or to reply to the FP file-form.

Have a nice day,

polonus (error-hunter)
