Load on NT system
« on: December 22, 2006, 06:08:47 PM »
I am trying to load an NT 4.0 sp6 client.  I used the command line like in the manual...

setup /client /createprogress /sfx /sfxstorage "package-folder"

and it fails.  I am logged in as an administrator.  I have mapped a drive to a copy of the instpkgs folder (not the actual folder on the adnm server).  I get the following log with the error...

Hi there,

Have you insured you have the latest ODBC and Jet 4.x drivers installed on the NT4 system. Is it NT4 sp6a?

Are you installing NetClient or Netserver on this NT4 system.? Is the NT4 system a server or workstation?

check the system spec for NT4 in the requirements within the manual.

Also make sure you have at least IE6 Sp1 installed.

I hope this helps.

James
