General comment:

I think it would have been more appropriate to have asked Technical in private before turning this into a open thread.

Already, people are "ready to promote" themselves into the slot before Technical has had a chance to decide.

I hope you guys would be ready to jump into his grave that fast.   ;D

I do fear that this new "forum" will turn into a battling ground for personal rough-housing.

Unfortunately, there has been a history of such conduct in the past.
