Virus in the WIN32 files
« on: May 12, 2007, 03:24:53 PM »
I currently have a trojan horse or something on my other system. It apparantly affects the Win32 files and I've tried everything to get rid of it (scans, preboot scans, etc.). A Dell support technician told me to save my data onto cds/dvds and then reinstall the OS.

What should i do? I've run the virus cleaner from Avast! multiple times, done scans everytime, but more viruses just keep popping up, or they aren't fully removed.

what to do now...

What has avast! identified so far?  Can you post the log.

And what operating system are you on?
