Deleting Old infected files from chest

I have a "bunch" of infected files that I have put in the chest, some are several years old. Is it ok for me to delete them, or do I just leave them in the chest?

Yes, if they are several years old and have not been needed, then they should be safe to delete. On the other hand, recent files should be retested before deleting them. The usual advice is to leave them in the chest for at least 2 weeks and then retest them by right-clicking each file and selecting "Scan" within the chest. I like to be a little more safe and wait a month before deleting anything from the chest. Please, only delete files in the "Infected files" catagory.
I hope this helps you.
