Hello, does anyone notice a slowdown in the opening phase of Chrome that takes a few seconds to open especially the first time after starting the PC?If I'm not mistaken it was a problem related to Avast Free but I don't know if it has been solved.

It constantly has "Loading" in the middle of it. I've tried repairing the installation and even doing a fresh installation. The issue persists.Update: Forgot to mention that I'm running Windows 10 Pro x64 (Build 20H2), and I've attached an image of the issue.Hello OrdosAlpha, can you please copy and pack files from this folder c:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log\ and send them to petr.blatny@avast.com ? I'm not able to induce such issue.Thank you very much.Petr

Updated to latest version (Win 10 21H1 x64) and all seems well except one minor issue: the context menu icon is invisible/missing ~ see pic. Could be a temp glitch on my end but remains after one soft reboot, thought I'd share in case. THX

<snip quotes>Hi Dave, see screenshot.
I just thought that it isn't completely avast 21.6 related.

ok, well then, one more thing I suggest that anti phishing and fraud should be further improved in terms of performance and scope of detection because many fake websites are disguised very well, they look as if they are real websites.
Is the web shield assisted by Aov able to prevent us from entering fraudulent and phishing websites who are getting smarter to disguise themselves as real websites, without real site support for free antiviruses ?
