Hi tech ,I have install the tool that you recommed to me ,but I think the rocketdock is more beautiful
and I think that tool`s style isn`t cool ,what do you think of it? ;)

I decided to check out both JetToolbar and RocketDock and found JetToolbar to be as ugly as sin when compared with RocketDock, whth much duplication and use of screen real-estate. I didn't do much testing of it as it lasted less than two minutes before I uninstalled it.

I found the RocketDock to be a better all around product once you get used to it, it is very configurable and takes up zero screen real-estate when used in AutoHide and it doesn't mess with your other on-screen windows.

JetToolbar reduced the size of my Browser, Explorer, windows because of the size of the toolbar, I tried docking it to other locations and I just didn't like it at all. This application has probably taken the record for the least time spent on my system before it got uninstalled.

You should be able to add iExplore simply by right clicking the RD bar and select Add Item, File, If you know the location of iexplore and paste the path into the window (C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe) and that is it. Or you can open windows explorer and navigate to the folder containing iexplore.exe and drag it to the RD bar.

I just tried both of those options and they both worked, see image with 2 IE icons (they are just about to be deleted as I rarely if ever use it).

Hi SasH,I have some thing to interupt you ,that`s for the RocketDock software,
I have add some software into the RocketDock, and it looks perfect on my computer(thank you for recommeding :))
But the problem is that I can`t add the Internet Explorer in it :'((actually ,I can add Opera browser in it )
So what should I do  ???

Hi,

Even though DavidR already mentioned both ways of adding IE or any other icon for that matter to the Dock, I made a small Flash video (around 1 Mb and it has preloader included, so you know how much is left to download). It will show you how to add that icon using drag'n'drop method. I have to say that it works a little bit different if you are using Windows Vista.

Anyway, here is the link:

::: Adding IE icon to the Rocked Dock :::
(You need to have Flash plug-in installed for your internet browser)

Hope this helps a bit...  :)

Just for you... OK, OK... for everybody... I am attaching a zip file here. When you decompress everything, you'll get 4 folders. Each folder contains files and informations about each skin. Do not move/add/remove files. Just take those 4 folders and copy them as they are into your SKINS subfolder inside the RocketDock folder. This is the default location if you haven't changed anything during the RocketDock installation procedure: C:\Program Files\RocketDock\Skins\

Once you placed those folders over there, go to your RocketDock and pick the skin you like...

I hope you'll like them.

Little reminder... for all those who didn't know, there is an quite old thread where I posted some icons I've created for RocketDock, AquaDock, ObjectDock, Y'z Dock and what-not...

http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=9002.0

Cheers!
