Hi, If you cannot remove stubborn virus, then try malware bytes free and see if those could be quarantined.
Enable to delete PuP, as antivirus will not by default delete potentially unwanted programmes called pup.
It will be also a better idea to do boot scan in safe mode, which will delete the files in the boot stage itself. You can then run avast scan again.

Hi,

Did you tick the box next to the unsecured threat, then click Resolve?
Please see this guide: https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/159/#idt_020

Hello,
@Somrurg
From the posted image, although I can not see the full detected path, I can see the detection is not active malware or real malware related.

It is possible that avast detects illegal software or some FP but these are not active (real) malware. (I believe...)

Go to avast and investigate the full detected path and locate what is detected. Possible some "unsafe" installer or part of a software or c_rack...etc.

Then you will know can you ignore detection via settings in avast software or to delete detected files yourself.
