Anti-Theft Connect to Avast Account

I have Avast Mobile Security Premium.  I am attempting to activate the Anti-Theft function, and it took me to Anti-Theft Setup to give permissions.  There were 3 things: 1) PIN code, n/p. 2) Permissions granted, n/p.  But 3) Connect to your Avast Account will not work.  when I click on that, it takes me to Avast Account and has 3 ways to log in:  Google, Facebook and email.  All three fail repeated efforts (ie there is no mistyping).  I logged into my avast account, changing the password.  Logged out, and re-logged in on my computer to be sure it was right; it is.  Entry of my email in (3) and avast pw results in "Login failed, check your...".  So what do I do please?

Please contact Avast support directly via the app.
In AMS please go to > Menu > Help&Feedback > "Avast direct support"
