Will I be able to preserve/ recover the Driver Update facility ?

In case relevant, I noticed the problem when I ran the Windows PC Health facility to check for compatibility with windows 11. It reported that the processor is not compatible but as a by-product, told me that my Drive C was full !

Sure, ADU is a standalone app/product.

Unfortunately the problem reoccurred a few days later. I notice that somebody else having the same problem has been referred to a debug/ log checkbox in settings, but, regardless of whether it is checked or unchecked, surely there is something wrong with the software !!!!

I am not so sure that this is [only] a Windows problem . Why do the files appear under Avast ? Does Avast need to adjust to be compatible? Windows does not have Advanced/ Basic settings under Privacy only Basic and Optional. I have the Basic setting. There is a setting on how often to send diagnostic data to Microsoft whaich is by default set to Automatic.  Windows + X, Powershell as Admin, wpr - cancel does not seem to shop the problem permanently. In Avast settings I have Debug/ log unchecked under Settings/ Troubleshooting. The problem keeps reoccurring. Should I try recording the problem ? Or turn the bug log on ?

Hi,

This seems to be a bug and our developers are looking into it.
