AVAST Firewall Blocking Internet Access
« on: March 15, 2022, 01:24:27 PM »
I am having internet connection issues due to Avast Firewall blocking access. This appears to be the case on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers. I have found that most of the time I can turn off firewall and access the internet. Subsequently, I can turn on firewall while browsing. However, this is not always the case whereby I can’t get through to the internet and I do numerous restarts to resolve the issue with the Firewall off.
Anyone have this experience or a permanent solution?  This started happening about a month or so ago. I would have thought if Avast had determined an issue in their end, an update would have fixed this by now.
