"USB Drive does not seem to be bootable"
« on: April 01, 2022, 01:37:28 AM »
Trying to recover from a Windows 11 Boot error.

Got Avast to make a rescue USB boot flash drive, and I get the title message.  It's a brand new USB 3.0 64 GB flash drive, and I have already tried Macrium Reflect boot (and others) from it, successfully.

How can I fix this error and get Avast to accept this USB drive?

Hello Long Con, thank you for your message. Please accept our apologies, we are aware of this issue which is connected to the USB drives bigger than 32GB and we will fix it in one of the future versions. For now, I would recommend you to either find smaller usb flash drive or create at least two partitions (32GB each) on the current one and use one of it for creating bootable Rescue Disc. Thank you for your understanding. Have a nice day. Petr
