Hello. English is not my first lenguage so pardon me in advance.
I NEED HELP!
I downloaded Avast Free Antivirus about five months ago. Before that, I had another Antivirus from other company. Everything seemed good with the new one until I received a charge of 98.99 dollars in my credit card receive in the last days. I started cheking and I had an e-mail that saids that I requested an Avast Premium license. Then I went to my Avast Free Antivirus and chequed if something had changed and no. It sill looks in my panel that i have a free account suscription. So it looks like something is wrong here because I've never agreed to buy an Avast Premium Suscription, nor gave my credit card number to the company. Also y never contacted a seller or any company that sells this product, and although Avast constantly is saying that to fix X amount of problems you should upgrade to a diferent kind of plan, I've always refused to do that.

This is the only place that I can contact with someone from Avast because the company doesnt have a direct E-mail for that, or it doesnt show in the official web site.
I want to solve this problem because it looks like a BIG confusion, and I don't know if this is an Avast mistake or something. In the web site it is said clearly:

It sais that Avast Free Antivirus is completely free and always will be. So what's going on?

On the other hand, te contract terms sais that someone can end a contract in the first 30 days after it is officialized and I'm still in time to do that, so if there is no other solution to what seems a mistake from Avast or a fraud commited by a thrid party, I want Avast to cancel the suscription, which if I'm not mistaken, it means that I don't have to pay for it.

I hope someone can help me whit this issue.

Hello, thanks for replying.
The thing is I didn't download a trial version of Avast. I downloaded the Free version. And I've been using it for only five months. So it looks suspicious. I believe that probably someone stole my personal data and used it to buy a Premium Avast suscription, because it doesn't make sence otherwise. Also, if I'm correct, Avast doesn't ask for your credit card number if you use the free version of the antivirus, so why they have it? I need to know if Avast once you reach five months of using the free antivirus automaticaly charge you a Premium suscription or there is in fact a third person who is stealing from me.

Thanks.
