Boot-Time Scan

Boot-Time Scan has not worked properly for the last two months. It says it is loading, and that loading just goes on and on. I let it go on for two hours, then gave up and restarted the computer.

what is your operating system?
If it's windows 10, see here for the workaround with the hidden "geek:area" menu
