Bug(?) - Reboot browsing network in LAN
« on: December 23, 2007, 08:34:06 AM »
I have a very simple LAN: one PC and one notebook (linked via ethernet).
Avast Home Edition version 4.7.1098 installed on both the computer.

When i try to browse network resource (shared folders) from PC to notebook (and viceversa), sometimes the remote computer reboot.
This happens randomly (not every time).
With the previous version of AVG Home Edition (4.7.1043) everything works fine.

Are you using avast or AVG? Both at the same time?
Do you use any firewall?
In XP/Vista, is there any useful information into Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Events, specially 'Errors'?

Ehm.. ::) sorry, mistake.

With Avast Home 4.7.1043 everything works fine.
Both the computers (PC and notebook) have the firewall Comodo 2.4.18.184.
