Can't renew the Subscription

Hi
Today I tried to renew the Avast free Antivirus subscription and the process went ok , but on the subscription section  it doesn't show me that is renewed it, didn't refresh the information.  I attach the images. How can i resolve the problem?
I know that on newer versions you don't have to register but I have an older version and my doubt is if my computer will be protected after expired. If would be possible I prefer to maintain the old version I have.

Seems to be a common problem renewing older, but still supported, Avast Free versions. 
There have been several similar complaints.

You still have to register on the latest versions of Avast Free, despite what might have been said in the past. 

Windows 7 is still supported for newer versions of Avast.

Even Windows XP SP3 (I think) was supported up to Avast 18.8

Holding on to old versions of Avast unless you have a specific problem for not keeping as current as you can isn't going to be without risk.

One of the major issues is that those Avast Users in the forums won't/aren't have old versions to refer to.  Attached image 1.

It was previously said in old topics that:
1. Avast kept running despite having an expired.
2. If you continue past that deadline the renewal happened automatically.  However some with very old versions of Avast have said this didn't happen.

I don't know if you have checked your Avast Account id.avast.com if you are logged into the forum it should recognise your account.  There is a Manage My Subscriptions section. Attached image 2.
I don't know if this would even be linked to your old version 17.5 or not.

Thanks DavidR for your help!  Unfortunately I don't have those screens on this version.
I attach the image of Subscription screen.           If there is no solution I will wait to past the deadline and pray that the renewal happened automatically. Thank you so much again!!!

I saw your first screenshot of that, my point being it is difficult to help when using an old version.

Mine was to show how it as changed.

The second screenshot is not from the AvastUI, but the Avast Account:

But the Avast Account function has been around for some time now.  It is effectively use to enable you to log on to this forum.

DavidR I checked what you say about  the account. I wasn't logged on, so I try to log on and I couldn't. i attach the image with the error.It is mandatory to be logged on to renew a subscription of Avast free? During these years I always renew the subscription without being logged on. I thought that you have to be logged on for payment subscriptions. By the web I can log on.

You're welcome.

About your image, I would remove it obscure your email (save and add it again, if you feel it necessary) as I did to ensure it doesn't get harvested (and spam emails).

When I logged on to try and renew subscription to Avast Free v18, that made no difference. I still could not get renewal to work. Only option was paid version, which I did not want.

My thinking was it might help, not having had a problem renewing Avast with the current version at that time of renewal.

Unfortunately that is one of the issues of having old Avast versions.  Virtually none of the avast users on the forum are able to help as they probably haven't got the same Avast version/UI (and possibly the same OS).  In this case they are trying to work from memory or try another avenue such as trying from the Avast Account.
