On Windows 10.
Hit "Windows Key", type "Make text size bigger".
Set "Make text bigger" slider to 120+%.

Elements of Avast notifications are scaled but become unreachable/unreadable (outside bounds of notification window).

Just tried this, making my text size 120%, and did a simple notification test (in my case, turning on "Offer to scan an external drive" and then plugging in a USB drive), and the notification is the same size.

Are you sure you don't have the option below the text size one, which is "Make everything bigger" including the size of App windows?

Make everything bigger is at 100%. Changing "Make text bigger" to 100% scales it back down to normal.

Yeah so it does make the text bigger proportional to how I set it, but I'm not noticing the same issue with Avast notifications being cut off or unreadable.

It does scale text properly but the size of the notification is static. I have to temporarily revert to 100%, resolve the notification, then revert text size. It's the combination of scaling UI/text size, non-scaling notification size, and lack of notification resize/move.

Appologies for bringing up an old thread, but I am having this issue described here.

Can anyone confirm if this has been fixed in a later release of Avast Premium Security.

My current version is :-
Program version: 23.10.6086 (build 23.10.8563.0)
UI version: 1.0.783
Windows 21H2 build 10.0.19044.2604

On another machine I'm running an older version of Avast and windows and the issue does not occur.
Program version: 22.9.6034 (build 22.9.7554.0)
UI version: 1.0.725
Windows 21H2 build 10.0.19044.1645

Both systems have text scaled to 120% in the "Windows Setting" app > "Ease of Access" > Display > "Make text bigger" = 120%.
"Make everything bigger" = 100%

And I am running one monitor at QHD resolution on both machines.

I do not really want to have to down grade version Avast back to 22.9 to fix this.

Hi,

I have recently installed Avast v24.3.6018 (build 24.3.8975.0) UI version 1.0.801 on Windows 22H2 build 10.0.19048.3448.

And the issue still persists, the whole of the Avast UI scales up with the accessibility options "Make text bigger" set > 100% the text increases in size as expected but so do the UI graphical elements such that they clip each other and render past the window edge, therefore becoming invisible.

This does not occur everytime, to replicate it, you must set the "Make text bigger" value > 100 i.e. 110%, reboot the system, and then change the resolution fairly early after boot. Sometimes Avast UI stays scaled correctly other times it does not. It may be linked to something still running in background or not.
