Windows Mail junk e-mail updates

Does anyone know if the Windows Mail junk e-mail updates for Vista apply to Windows Live Mail too?

Hmmm... I don't think so, but I'm not using the Live, just Windows Mail.
Does M$ knowledge base say something?

I couldn't find anything that said that it worked with WLM, which doesn't make since because WLM is supposed to be a replacement for Windows Mail.

Not quite, just because you can use one program (Windows Live Mail) in place of another (Windows Mail) doesn't mean that your system treats this
program the same as the program that came with your operating system (Windows Mail)

There are other 3rd party e-mail replacements but your operating system doesn't treat them the same as the program that
was designed for your operating system.

Yeah but this is still a first party app and I thought they would support the junk e-mail through Windows Update.
