Avast Secure Browser is my default but I can't sign on. I did with Firefox but I don't want to use it.  I remember my password.  How can I sign in using the ASB?   ???

Hi midnight,

Are you getting any error message? Did you verify that your username and password are exactly the same as in Firefox?

Default browser has nothing to do with can't remember password.
Change your settings under default program (Browser) and select the Avast Secure Browser as your default.

Well two people tried to help you and you didn't even acknowledge their taking the time to do that.

I would have though 'Lano's reply to clarify that you had the ASB saved password/logon settings the same as firefox, would have been a worthy place to start.

It would also have been considerate if you said how you managed to do it, should anyone having the same experience checked the topic.

@DavidR,

I do appreciate the 2 people that tried to help me.  The password I use on Firefox is not the same as I use on ASB.

Both need to be the same 'if' it is for the Avast forum Login.
Plus 'Lano' pointed this out in his response.  Regardless of where you are trying to log into the username and password, would be the same as it isn't browser specific.

Though you neglected to say exactly what it was you were trying to log into, our guess was to the Avast Forum.

@DavidR,

Before yesterday I couldn't remember my password so I used my gmail account.  It showed my username was Bev or Bj4 and I hadn't posted anything. I was able to get on the forum.

That's what Password Managers are for. They never forget and allow you to use a different password for each account.

@bob3160,

How do get a Password Manager?
If you're looking for a free one, this one comes highly recommended:
https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/bitwarden
I personally used a paid version of Dashlane -

Hope that helps.
