Trial subscription

How do I cancel a trial subscription prior to first billing? I only found the method for paid subscriptions

I believe that the trial if you had to setup a payment subscription, it would be cancelled in the same way.

The issue is that I have submitted my payment information as a requirement for a free trial. When following those instructions to cancel no subscription details, trial or otherwise, appears in my account

So Avast has my payment info and I have no way to stop them from billing me at the trial en₫ date

Did you see the blue text - in my previous screenshot, that is an active link and you should be able to cancel via that link.

But essentially it is saying that you need to login via - https://id.avast.com/sign-in (see attached screenshot) - Have you tried that  ?

I have. This time with the proper login credentials from my password manager. That did wonders
