What was causing this when Avast was running?

Have kind of a weird, silly/stupid curiosity: I noticed that the file names in the links for the install files are the same as the ones, and it's the website path that differs (contained in a beta subdirectory). If I were to click that link and download the file and run the installer, would it override the stable version i'm running (23.12) and just replace it?

I also assume that if I were running a Beta version it would tell me somewhere in the UI, right?

Hi Nunzio77, the crash was happening during computer shutdown so it had no impact on user experience with the AV product.

Hi Dinobot2, yes, in case you would install beta it would replace your stable version. And you can see a "BETA" mark in the main UI in case you install the beta product.
