I encountered an issue with a game I recently downloaded from Xbox Game Pass. Today, as I attempted to launch the game, Avast flagged it as a threat and moved it to quarantine. In an effort to investigate further, I tried uploading the file to VirusTotal and manually moving it to quarantine, but I received a message stating that I lack the necessary permissions to access the file and should contact the owner. The game in question is called Chained Echoes, and the file triggering the alert is Chained Echoes.exe. I'm curious to determine whether this incident was a false positive or if there may be another explanation.
