Recently, I started using Avid for some music related work, but the problem was that when I tried to update sibelius and all, there would always be a download error. After doing a bit of digging around online, I found out a different person solved it by disabling controlled folder access. Because I was using avast one, windows already had it disabled, but I still couldn't update the apps. However, uninstalling avast one did the trick. I would like to re-install it soon, but would like to know how to disable this feature first so it doesn't interfere with my work.
