Firewall component not selected in initial installation.

I just did a fresh install of Windows 10 on my PC. I am installing Avast Free Version. On the part selecting the components to install such as File Shield, Behavior Shield, Ransomware Shield, Web Shield, Mail Shield, Software Updater, Browser Cleanup, Cleanup.... The "Firewall" component isn't selected. That and "Passwords (old)" are the only two not selected.

Is there a reason Avast would not make the Firewall a standard component to install without modifying the installation?

It was included as a default component on all 'new installations' (not updates) on a recent Program Update.
