resolving blacklist aborted connection
« on: March 27, 2024, 11:50:19 AM »
Hi all,

i wonder if anyone can advise.

Ive been using the free Avast virus protection and every day whilst my PC is idle I get a pop up that states:

we've safely aborted connection on dnpccs.xyz because it was infected with url:blacklist

Having now also purchased premuim, Ive completed a full scan, and also completed a scan on the apparent issue, but nothing shows.

Having done some research I can see that many oters have this issue with other sites, but Im uncertain what the sactual solution is.

Ive looked into dnpccs but cannot for the life of me see what this is.

How do I go about resolving this as its really starting to get frustrating.

Kind regards,

Jon

Is this a website you want to visit?

Blacklistet by 5 vendors (not uncommon for .xyz domains)

If you dont try to visit this website, try this

Try clear Your browser history

In all major Internet browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox, IE, Opera), pressing Ctrl + Shift + Delete opens the Clear browsing data window to quickly clear private data and history

Does it still happen?
- If so try starting your browser with apps disabled.

Does it still happen?
If not, one of your browser add-ons would appear to be connecting to this site.
Now it is a bit of a pain, disabling one app at a time to find it.
Start with any app recently added and or apps recently updated.
