False positive on my website
« on: April 06, 2024, 12:36:10 AM »
Hi, I have this website notube.net that I've been running since 2018. As well as notube.lol which is exactly the same site but in a French version.

The second one is blocked every week by Avast because of "Url:Scam" while the first one is not blocked since 2018.

My site has ads but does not offer any scam ads. Moreover, the ads are mainstream, moderated every week and, above all, similar to notube.net, which is never blocked.

Can you do the necessary? Please don't redirect me to the False positive form because they unblock the situation but the site is blocked 2 days later (I must have made about 50 False positive reports since last year, I'm surprised that it didn't tip off an Avast technician).

My users can no longer access my site and it's a pain to explain to them that they need to remove Avast to continue visiting it.

Thanks

I have told you what to do to help resolve this.

Checking other analysis sites can help see why it might have been detected and possibly help rectify the problem.

I don't work for Avast, I'm an avast user trying to help, at this point I will bow out.

Unfortunately the person or bot that answers me through the FP form doesn't solve my problem. If anyone has a viable solution for contacting a real technician that would be great.

All the code returned by this page is 100% verified, open source and, above all, risk-free for the device running it.

Notube.net (the English version) also indicates a suspicious site, yet is not blocked by Avast.

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!
