Avast pop-up ads

I purchased your product for virus protection. But AVAST KEEPS POPPING UP WITH ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS TO BUY FOR COMPLETE PROTECTION. Your product cost more than I really can afford, limited retirement benefits, so the annual subscription of $37.85 was a pinch. After looking at all the additional products you are trying to sell me with your annoying pop-ups, the price tag for your software rises to over $244 per year. I am trying to avoid pop-up ads, and Avast has more pop-up ads than anyone else!

My subscription will expire in a few months, and I will not be renewing the subscription. I will let it run out and replace Avast with a different virus protection that doesn't lie about the cost and delivers the product as promised without requiring additional purchases.

Change your settings in Privacy Settings
- Avast in program ADs - These are a fact of the free version, but can be removed in paid versions of Avast - AvastUI > Menu > Settings > General - Personal Privacy and you can uncheck them, 'uncheck the offers for other Avast Products' and 'Show offers for 3rd party products'.

Also look at the AvastUI > Menu > Settings > General > Notifications - Select the Pop-up Notifications treatment to what you want.
