Web Shield
« on: May 24, 2024, 11:29:42 AM »
Web Shield is blocking all access to websites and there doesn't appear to be a way to set trusted sites any suggestions.

Ordinarily I don't use Facebook trying to use the link you posted failed initially, a problem redirecting from www to https://www facebook.com (the space it to break an active link.

I was however able to get in to the sign in page (not have an account that's as far as I could get.

As long as web shield is active it doesn't seem to matter what site I try it won't connect.

Here's another one

Once again I have had no problem connecting to the site.

You have something else in the mix that is possibly causing conflict with Avast and the website.  What that is I don't know from the limited information, errors messages/screenshots generally help.

if you have the latest avast 24.4 update then check that your brouser has not been added to the block list by mistake.
firefox and edge had for some reason been added since the latest update.

check if your browser isn't blocked in Avast menu "Blocked & Allowed apps"?
To access this menu, open Avast and go to - Menu - Settings - General - Blocked & Allowed apps.
