New version 24.2.16549 of Avast Cleanup product has just been released!

What's new in Avast Cleanup product?

• Data Recovery feature — This new feature has been implemented to help you recover deleted files from hard drives and other storage devices.
• Data Recovery scan selection simplification — Simplified dialog for scan selection step in the Data Recovery feature to make it easier to use and more accessible.
• ⁠Product tour — We've added a quick guide to help you navigate through the new user interface.
• Software Updater feature engine — We’ve improved the Software Updater engine so that it now supports even more programs to ensure that your software is always up to date.
• ⁠Default sorting in cleaning results — The default sorting of the scan results for our cleaning features is now according to size of category, instead of alphabetically, so that the most important items appear at the top.
• Fixes — We have made some under-the-hood improvements and fixed a few bugs to keep Avast Cleanup running smoothly.

How you can get the latest version?

• If you already have Avast Cleanup installed on your computer, you can just wait for the automatic update.
• If you don't want to wait for the automatic update you can navigate into Settings - Update Cleanup section and click on Update now button.
• Or in case you don't have it at all, you can download and install it from this link: https://honzik.avcdn.net/setup/avast-tu/release/avast_cleanup_online_setup.exe

I really do not like this new release.  No visibility as to what was found, nothing like the legacy version....really really do not like the interface.  There is just too much spread out, and summarized.

Very unsatisfactory interface for all the reasons listed by petermcfarland.  Also why does Windows Task Manager show more than one Avast Cleanup UI running?  They all have different Task IDs and are using different amounts of memory.  This REALLY does not look right.
Also, it did not update properly.  I did an update, Avast Cleanup stopped working, I had to manually download and install.
