Hi,

- install, Update -> spybot, ad-aware and cwshredder
- reboot in SafeMode (F8-Boot) and scan and fix with the 3 progs

also use the board-search for info on Hijackers & hijackthis

NOTE TO WHOCARES

Many others have tried to do what you suggested, i.e. install the above software, and run in safe mode, but all have reported it doesn`t work.  by renaming the file, incredfind is disabled, but i am unable to delete it from my system because one of the files is locked.

this seems to me to be a serious abuse of my pc when an anynomous person comes on my system and installs a file that is locked.  i tried to log onto the incredfind.com but the only thing that happened was that another copy of incredfind was installed on my computer.

i need help to get rid of the locked file
