Its actually very good news. Apple's Sales have been going through the roof since vista's release and once Microsoft cuts off XP on June 30th Mac sales should do even better (Id imagine id help Linux too) :) :)

Sorry Mac, Windows XP will be available on new low-cost computers until at least 2010.

Also, in Australia at least, well-founded rumour is that MS are to create an XP sales loophole big enough to drive a Renault truck through (sorry Mac, they used to be Macks didn't they  ;D).
They will continue to make XP available until 2010, to OEMs who market some models of PC to business users. How restrictive!!

well Xp on Low cost PCs doesn't effect Apple since Apple does not compete in the low cost PC market (Machines like asus eee  are the ones that will still be running XP)

However we need to change people's minds on this:
