When Beta goes full release, and or Beta to New Version Of Beta

When this Beta 1178 gets into the full release how do we update?

Do we wait until we are informed it's ready and activate manually the program update button, because at the moment my settings for update are auto for the defs and ask for the program updates.

The same question goes for when a current Beta changes version?

The new release, when it comes, will be announced in the forum.  If the version number for the release has changed from the last beta posted then you can choose to either perform a manual program update or wait for the pop-up window to alert you. 

If the version has not changed then you will not need to do anything.

I'm not sure the automatic update works for beta versions. I think you have to manually update.

So I would just click on program update from within Avast? when the time comes of course.

Yes. Just manual update and you'll update to a new beta or from the beta to the stable (when it is released).
