Avast! Mac & Mail Application

Hello

I recently purchased avast! mac edition and now every time i start up my mac i get mail pop up too, which i dont want because i use entourage instead.

Can someone help? Ive looked through preferences and i cant see anything in there.
Also How do i stop it being on screen, i just want it to run in the background like avast does on windows

Yes, the mail is started by Avast, because avast checks the consistency between mail-rule and its own setting. In next version, we'll choose different polling - less bullet-proof, but on the other hand less annoying for non-Mail users.
