Gmail makes it sure that the user passwords keep in secure connection but it is not so with other content of mail if users don't intentionally choose secure connection. CustomizeGoogle makes it sure that the information exchanged between the users' computers and Gmail servers stay in secure connection. However, of course, I may be speaking the language of paranoia.
