Well, before registering, a search found a post that covered the problem that I am having, but after registering and logging in and re-searching, the same post did not surface, so pardon me if this is somehow a duplication....
Anyway, upon startup, Avast 4.1 Home indicates that resident protection is disabled, etc... The post that I found indicated to do uninstall -> repair, but I simply am unable to find that option. Is it not available on the free version, or did I miss it somewhere?
